In order to protect equipment and data, it's very important that the proper teardown procedure is followed exactly.

Shutdown

Proxmox Server

There are 3 different options for shutting down the Proxmox server. The first option involves utilizing the Proxmox control panel, the second uses the hardware button, and the third uses the IPMI interface.

Dream Machine

It is recommended to shut this down last, as all network access will be lost and other devices cannot be shut down over the network.

1. Swipe left on the display until you see settings

2. Tap settings

3. Swipe left again until you see the options to shutdown and restart

4. Tap shutdown and wait until the screen reads "Safe to unplug"
